As the 8th season of America's favorite talent competion begins, take a look back this summer when thousands sang their hearts out in preliminary rounds in the Possibility City. Dining at Proof on Main.

In 1971 Korea, Sooni (Su Ae) is an average housewife, whose only hobby is singing. At the time, some 320,000 Korean men are dispatched to fight alongside American troops in the Vietnam War, and her husband, Sang-gil (Uhm Tae-woong), is one of them. She decides to go to Vietnam to search for Sang-gil by joining a “consolatory band” that cheers up troops. Newly named “Sunny,” she embarks on a journey of self-discovery and love.

I wrote this song and sang it. I don't know Italian, and my Japanese isn't good so I used the internet--I liked how it sounded. Music was made using Mixcraft, and of course I had to set it to an AMV.

Sang-woo, the leader of college rock band Volcano, dies and sets up a reunion for Gi-yeong and the other members of the group. Former bass player Seong-wook lives a hand-to-mouth existence working two jobs. Drummer Hyeok-su is a single father struggling to make a living as a car salesman. The jobless lead guitarist Gi-yeong dreams of taking over Volcano as the new frontman. When he suggests they reform the band while the old friends reminisce at the funeral, they all spurn the idea. But Gi-yeong persists and gets each to relent, setting the stage for a rock and roll reunion.

Ji-ho is a promising pianist, studying and playing abroad for years. But one night she had a stage fright and never recovers. In despair, Ji-ho comes home and meets her old classmate Sung-ryong. Once a very bright boy, Sung-ryong had an accident and now he is in late 20s with the mind of a six year old. He is very forgetful, but he has never forgotten his first love Ji-ho. Other half of Sung-ryong’s dumb mind is occupied with his only family – younger sister Jee-in. To take care of her, Sung-ryong sells toasts in front of Jee-in’s school. But Jee-in is embarrassed of her idiotic brother and ignores him. And Sang-soo is Sung-ryong’s old friend who understands Sung-ryong’s innocent mind. But he inevitably falls to the world of gangsters. Ji-ho is still in her slump, Jee-in falls sick and Sang-soo gets involved in a bloody dispute. But all of their agonies are miraculously saved by Sung-ryong in a way nobody has forseen.

Hey, covering a great song by one of my favorite bands! In this video, I have rythm guitar, lead guitar, and vocals. This is the first time i've ever sang a song all the way through. (Let alone on the internet for everyone to see!) So, I know my voice sux! LOL! But, I just thought that this song would be incomplete without the words. I used Windows Movie Maker. This song was performed by Nathan at last Friday's "Rising Stars" recital produced by Gwyn Sanborn. Aside from singing a duet, The Brewer Boys also each sang a solo number. This is Nathan's rendition of the all-popular old hit of Journey. He had great time learning and performing it. Hope you like it!

Here's another song from Big & Rich that we really love. It means a lot to us because we sang this at an audition in Nashville - however, we were told, it "didn't sound country enough." Oh well - but we still like to think we are a "country duo." Hope you like it.

The Brewer Boys performed at the TemeculaLive 2008 show in February 2008. They sang with the Ranch Rockers and this was the first time they ever performed with a live band. It was a blast! Check it out.
