One of the things I most love about living in Chicago, especially the lakeside neighborhood of Edgewater on the far north side, is the juxtaposition of bustling urban life and the raw forces of nature. The time of year is perfect too- early spring when the new foliage has that wonderful fresh "new growth" green. This series features construction workers on the top of a new building working with a crane, Darwinian cyclists running the stop signs at a busy intersection, a really smashed up car, seagulls in a standoff, the stunning lakeshore, and of course- WIND! Two of the videos feature my dear little papillon dogs and the tenacious sedum I brought with me here from Indianapolis.

Lynchland is the video podcast of writer, director, musician Liam Lynch. This half hour variety show features 3D animations, music videos, celebrity interviews, video games, shorts and his MTV show characters Sifl and Olly. Lynch has worked in every corner of the entertainment industry. From directing feature films (Sarah Silverman: Jesus is Magic, Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny) and music videos (Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Tenacious D, Liam Lynch, No Doubt) to being a top ten recording artist himself (United States of Whatever). The entire program is made from Lynch's home and all graphics, animation, music and effects are done on his Mac computer. Lynch hosts the show and plays himself as well as a wide variety of side characters. Long time friend and Sifl and Olly partner, Matt Crocco, also adds his character skills to the show. "Tribute" by Tenacious D

**Possible Spoilerish Stuff, Maybe** This is my tribute to Captain Lee Adama using the song "Lee" by Tenacious D. The beginning part is from the HBO Mini-Series called "Tenacious D" and the episode is Episode 5: The Fan. I spliced in scenes from Lee talking to make it like they were actually talking to Lee Adama. It's corny, but I liked it. The second part is a combonation of scenes from Seasons 1, 2, and 3 of Battlestar Galactica. There is some spoilerish stuff in here, so be warned. I tried to squeeze as much as I could into this nearly 1 minute song and I enjoyed every second making this. So, Captain Lee Adama, we salute you! So say we all.

The first show I thought of was Chrno Crusade, using Aion as the Devil, it just fit so well, Rossette as JB, and Chono and KG. If you havn't seen the Pick of Destany yet, do NOT watch this, unless you really don't care about hearing how it ends. If you have seen it, then please enjoy "the greatest anime music video of all time."
