Caroline gets some great news about Mac and Holly's son and surprisingly enough it comes from Sue White.

Caroline becomes depressed with Mac's commitments to his (newly discovered) son. Guy becomes envious when she starts dating the hospital complimentary therapist Jake and takes things a little too far...

A guy with TB decides he's gonna wing on over to Europe and let his air circulate through the plane for about a half a day. Also, President Bush nominates Robert Zoelick as President of the World Bank so he can fire him in about a year and a half. And what gives with booing Miss USA?

Caroline is not happy with Guy as her lodger, however, that is the least of her worries as Holly has some rather shocking news to tell Mac.

It is all change down at East Hampton. With Angela gone, a new paediatrics registrar is needed and Caroline needs to find a new lodger, but it does not look good when the new registrar turns out to be Mac's former girlfriend Holly.

A documentary crew have come to film East Hampton, and some react better than others. Meanwhile, Guy and Joanna are trying to retrieve a videotape of their "night of passions"

Caroline continues to cope with Mac's loss of memory (and their relationship).

Mac, who has been in a coma for 8 weeks is constantly visited by both friends and musical visions. Meanwhile, Guy has been temporarily suspended from work, but continues to irritate just about everyone in the hospital.

SEASON FINALE. As Mac is leaving for Sheffield he decides to make one last bet with Guy which will lead to Guy doing something he'll sorely regret.

After spending a day with Guy, Caroline knows that Mac is the man for her. However, Mac seems to have already found a girlfriend. Elsewhere, Alan plans to raise money for charity by hosting a slave auction, and puts himself up for sale.

Caroline decides that it is either Guy or Mac that she truly loves, but the question is which one?

Caroline is worried about no-one coming to her housewarming party, and is equally worried that Angela has already got something new to wear.

After spending a night at Guy's flat, Caroline finds herself in a mess when Guy starts to spread rumours of a long night of passion with her.
