The 2009 Cube is a marvel of quirky design... its asymmetrical and has a different profile on the right and left sides, it features a “bulldog” like stance, wide doors, and a rear door that opens like a refrigerator. The car's shape creates plenty of room on the interior, with space to comfortably seat up to five people. But one of the best things about the Cube, and the reason its been so popular for so long in Japan, is its amazing fuel efficiency... the 2009 model has not been tested by the EPA, but Nissan expects it will get a rating of about 30 miles per gallon on the freeway. I’ve loved this book so far, Mark Millar has done an amazing job of creating this future world and building the mystery of how it came to be. The anticipation was getting to me and I was getting sick of the hints and suggestions at what had happened to Logan to bring him to the place he is today. This issue is admittedly slow. There is a lul in both action and story. I had almost lost hope until the last three pages. This issue is just one big cliff hanger. Wolverine almost snaps and finally breaks down and gets ready to tell Hawkeye what he went through when the bad guys won. Now it will be a big mistake if Marvel continues to drag this on. They have teased us enough and at the end of the day this is just and basic what if or else world story so there is not much reason to stick with it other than the story itself. ...

This series started strong but has fizzled as of late. There was so much depth to this story within marvel continuity that it made this story very intriguing. The problem is that marvel started focusing on the depth and not the story. Rather than moving the story forward they continued looking back not even at how they got there but just what was going on behind what we thought we knew. There was also not a lot to the story basically all they have is the skrull invasion and the earth's counter attack. They haven't filled the gaps with anything but Fury's new recruits but they didn't make that very interesting. I would have liked to have seen more of the regrouping and planning for how to strike back. I wanted to hear how the heroes feel about some of their friends and loved ones turning out to be Skrulls and how their dealing with ...

We can all breathe a little easier this week, Spidey is back and the writers were able to maintain the quality that was brought in the New Ways to Die Arch. Since his introduction I’ve had my eye on Mr Negative as I felt he had a lot of potential to be a solid villain for our favorite wall crawler and there was enough mystery around him to keep it interesting. Oh, and the Hammer, formerly known as Hammer Head, wow. Look at that DC Marvel can resurrect some D listers and make them badass too. They’ve really done amazing work with this character and hooray Spiderman has someone respectable to fight. One thing I’ve really got to hand to these writers is how they are able to bring the humor into this book without cheapening the action and drama of it. It is annual season at marvel and they are out in force. Annuals are so hit and miss with me, I mean you never really know what you’re going to get. They could be a fun side story outside of the current arch, it could be a major event like the wedding of Spiderman back in annual # or it might be something big that pushes the current arch along. This one is a miss for me, not so much because of the story or writing but because of the choice they made. I loved the style of the writing. It read like one of the old Stan lee books with the humor and the writer’s commentary along the way. I've been waiting for them to get back to the Jackpot story because I liked the dynamic that was developing with her and Spidey. I thought she had potential to drive the story the same way that Black Cat did. I was a little disappointed ...

Despite my better judgment I continue to read this book. I'd rather not admit it but I am actually starting to enjoy it. It is an interesting else world story that has made some interesting reading. I hate to admit it but I am actually starting to feel connected to the characters and I'm feeling a little sorry for Ape X, he's a good guy and is starting to get pulled into the a situation that he knows nothing about. The actions is starting to heat up and the prospect of Captain America vs Vampire Captain America actually has me a little excited about the next issue. I guess this week I was lucky that there was such a small selection on the shelf. Dude on your light weeks this is actually worth picking up. Don't worry about the earlier issues you aren't missing much and this is where it all gets started. Distributed by Tubemogul.

So this book was just as useless and irrelevant as last week’s Mighty Avengers book but at least this was more interesting. The one thing that I have liked most of all about this series was how deep the story went into marvel continuity so I do appreciate this story but think that it belonged somewhere else. I did enjoy seeing how the skrulls dealt with the House of M but I think Marvel is doing itself and its readers a disservice by making so many Secret Invasion tie ins with out them relating to the story itself. We don’t need all of this. The whole secret invasion story should have been told within the two avengers titles and this stuff should have been made available in outside stories. They’ve drawn it out too long and not had enough payoff outside of the core story. I’m just ready for this story ...

PRECARIOUS. Deep on early 1988, a three man band was cooking up whole new ideas for a sound that would 'take over' all of rock, the band was Greenhouse Effect, the guitarist was Phil Keegan, and the sound was this unheard of thing that the band called 'grunge" !! Bassist Rick Carmody held it together with complicated bass lines straight off a Who record and the band possessed a marvel of a lyricist, drummer, and vocalist named Clark Higgins who had dreams and music aspirations that would change rock as we know it....the Hollywood music industry would use G.e. as their nucleous of ideas but never signed them,...today Greenhouse effect are one of the worlds most seen and watched internet bands of nostalgia, sentimental south bay value, and heroic 'garage rock' theatre !!
