This book just went from weird to ridiculous. Not only do we have ape versions of the marvel heroes, but now some of them are vampires that want to invade our universe to drink our blood. I mean come on. This book inspired the biggest groan and rolling of the eyes that I have ever experienced in reading comics. The only thing that I did like about this book is when Gibbon was talking with the ape version of Speedball and he was asking about his human self. Gibbon couldn’t bring himself to tell him about how he killed 600 kids and started the civil war and is probably the most hated hero in the Marvel U. I wonder how we would have taken it if Gibbon had told him the truth. That conversation would have been more interesting than this whole story. Distributed by Tubemogul.

I really thought they had something going with that and that Marvel would stick with it. Steve Rogers is one of the world’s greatest heroes and while killing him off was a great story and one of the greatest things that marvel has done in terms of drama and story telling proving that the story is still more important than the character, the sentimental side of me wanted to have that connection to hold on to. That aside Dr Faust has turned and helped Sharon by giving her her shield locator so the Calvary is on the way and it’s about time she’s been through enough.
