I used to play this song in the eighties with my band The Treat. When it was a number one hit, we were just clowning around in the rehearsal room with the song. We didn't know exactly how it went so we left out the solo and put our own part in there, shouting 'Egyptians say go!'. We used to play it at shows and everybody loved it. The ending would be like 2 minutes of noise. Just ramming that B chord til everybody got sick of it. No solo stuff, no drumfills, just cymbals and that B chord. I redid the vocals because you can see I don't know the words exactly (You can see me reading sometimes when I look to the left where I had the lyrics lying on the table). I can't find my mic stand anywhere so the mic was hanging just out of the screen. Useless anyway, coz I didn't use that vocal track. Korgrandi did the bass playing. Although he's more into Black Sabbath, I like it that he doesn't mind doing this simple stuff. Visit his youtube channel here http://www.youtube.com/user/korgrandi Guitar has to be downpicking all the time like the Ramones do. Not only for the sound, but it just looks damn lazy when you don't do that. Just follow that hi-hat baby! Download the mp3 here: http://www.filefactory.com/file/a02771c/n/Walk_Like_An_Egyptian_mp3
