This sees the departure of the two British airmen and Bertorelli from the series. - Now that the airmen have finally escaped to England and Captain Bertorelli and his Italian troops have gone home, Rene thinks life will be peaceful once again. Then Yvette announces that she's pregnant. Meanwhile, Helga helps Colonel Von Strohm and Lieutenant Gruber steal the painting of the 'Fallen Madonna' from Herr Flick, but she keeps a special piece for herself.

This is it. The last ep. I have for now. The Resistance plan to get the airmen out of the drain in the town square under the cover of a gypsy fair. Rene and Edit pay a visit to the gypsies where Edith makes a shocking discovery about her childhood.

The British airmen get stuck down the drain in the middle of the town square. Rene must use all his wits to devise unusual ways to feed them and avoid detection by the Germans.

Gruber alerts General von Flockenstoffen of von Klinkerhoffen’s planned bombing. Flick and von Smallhausen set off to defuse the bombs. The Communists come to save Nouvion and take the Colonel and Gestapo officers prisoners in Café Rene.

A priest calls at the café to donate gold to the Resistance. Michelle now wants to build a barrage balloon to evacuate the airmen, but von Klinkerhoffen says if the airmen are not returned he will blow up Nouvion

The local newspaper, now edited by Rene, is looking for a woman of strength, beauty and virtue to be the Spirit of Nouvion. Edith applies. Michelle needs Rene to nick the Fallen Madonna to sell it for much needed funds for the Resistance.

General von Kinkerhoffen re-opens the local newspaper as a propaganda sheet with a very reluctant Rene as its editor. Michelle now plans to build a raft to float the airmen to England.....Oh! and a picnic.

Rene and Edith have fled to England in the place of the airmen. They receive medals from Churchill, meet an old friend from the past and sample some of the hardships of war torn London.

The Germans plan to give Rene a medal for collaboration and the Communists plan to shoot him as a traitor. Michelle’s plans for smuggling the airmen in the disguise of monks reaches its climax.

General von Flockenstoffen decides to launch a lightning raid to capture Churchill. The Colonel, Gruber and Bertorelli resort to desperate measures to prevent this.

At long last season 7 (10 eps.) Where exactly is Fanny? The last time she was seen, it was in her bed with "toy- pensioner-husband, Leclerc", attached to a balloon and heading due south at about 500 feet.

Von Strohm, Gruber, Helga and Bertorelli call General Von Flockenstoffen to deal with a mad General Von Klinkerhoffen, who wants to blow up the town.

Herr Flick wants the painting to sell it to obtain money so he can flee. So do the German officers.

Michelle wants to hijack the car with the Intelligence officers and then use their uniforms to infiltrate the chateau and get the airmen out.

The British airmen have been captured by the Germans. Michelle has a plan to get them. So does the Gestapo.

Season six starts (8 episodes )The Resistance is building a communication center in the empty grave of René's twin brother and madame Fanny announces she's going to marry Ernest Leclerc. Quote of the show("fa,fa,fa,fa,fa,fa")

Rene hides his gold in the cuckoo clock, then at the Colonel’s order disguises himself and his Resistance friends as a string quartet to play at the Officer’s dance. Flick and von Smallhausen attend the same dance disguised as maids.

The last episode of season 5 Michelle calls an emergency meeting. She tells Rene and the others that two British experts are coming disguised as policemen to examine the Enigma machine. The Colonel is ordered to arrest and execute six most prominent town members if the machine is not returned.

Michelle gives Rene an outfit in which he can conceal the camera so he can take pictures of the invasion plans. Café Rene is doing the catering for the Meeting of the Generals, so the stage is set for photographic intrigue.

This band is from Norway and there are four CD’s available, but the band doesn’t seem to exist anymore to my knowledge ,But I could be wrong

Flick is informed that the Communists have kidnapped his sausage and are demanding a ransom for it. A plan is devised for Rene to pay the ransom then have the Colonel ambush the Communists with his troops to regain the money.
