Jennifer: "Jimmy Carter" is a site-specific video installation that fills large walls of the gallery; thousands of computer synthesized flowers swing back and forth. The flowers create an illusion where the space seems to dematerialize. It feels as though the walls are moving along with the flowers. The work is synthesized with software; it never existed in reality, only as code. The striped imagery transforms the architecture, while in turn the art is transformed by the same architecture. This creates an experience for the viewer, in-between a real and imaginary space. Steinkamp has come back to these particular ideas over and again in various installations. Her artwork utilizes computer animation to craft immersive interactive projection installations. Three-dimensional computer graphics are the basis of her animation; animation that takes full advantage of the computer's ability to create motion and points of view that are not available by any other means.

shazap.com Wow this book is so good and so relevant. Ed Brubaker has a very unique way of intertwining social commentary into his story without getting preachy. Bucky has been battling constantly to live up to the legacy of Steve Rodgers and now has to face off against his clove who has been twisted into believing that he is the real captain America. OK amazing fight scenes aside this is a great way of continuing this struggle. Bucky now has the chance to prove that he is worthy of the mantle and he’ll get to earn it in battle like all good soldiers should. Sharon has some really interesting stuff going on as well especially with carrying Steve’s baby. I hope for her sake this latest escape attempt actually works. I also need to take the opportunity to give some much needed praise to the artwork of Rob De La Torre. It is powerful and unique. It has a very expressive style without being over the top. It is almost an artistic depiction of reality. It is great and really adds dimension to this great book.

Children with a personal connection to Morocco (children with Moroccan parents or grandparents, children who have visited or lived in Morocco ...etc) were invited to submit artwork on the theme “My Morocco”. The Kids, ages 4 and 12, drew upon their personal experiences living in and visiting Morocco, or family stories or traditions that illustrated what Morocco means to them. The masterpieces were on display for the two judges, Mr. Hamid Kachmar, a Moroccan Artist teaching at Howard University and Ms. Mimi Wolford, of the Smithsonian Institute, who had the difficult task of choosing the top four winners. The 1st prize went to Mouna Baghera for her painting called "my grandma's neighborhood", the second prize was claimed by fares Assaadi for his collage called "Agadir", his father's bithplace., the third prize went to Sophia Kaddouri and the forth winner was Tito Khantach for his work named "argan tree""

Go behind the scenes of the photo shoot for the custom made Xbox 360 Chopper bike, modeled by Zoo girl Krystal Forscutt. This one-off work of chopper art is the main prize in a retail promotion by GAME stores across the country. Its slick flowing lines evoke the Xbox 360’s hallmark styling and finishing touches recall various elements unique to the console. Krystal shone alongside the massive 883cc Sportster engine and billet chrome wheels. Under the lights of the studio the polished green paintwork looked slicker than ever. The detailed artwork by world renowned airbrush artist Wayne Harrison truly highlighted the intricacies incorporated into the bike’s design. Los Angeles - April 2008- Scion’s Installation 4, “It’s A Beautiful World,” will open in Los Angeles, the last of nine cities on the national tour, on May 10. The innovative Scion Installation Art Tour launched its fourth installment last July and features a diverse array of artists from around the world. The theme, “It’s a Beautiful World,” was interpreted by each artist, in one of four mediums— painting, photography, sculpture, and collage. The culmination of the tour is accompanied by a live auction where all of the artwork will be auctioned off to the public, and 100 percent of the proceeds will go toward art related charities. No, not really, actually Killian here is a pure bred Papillon (butterfly dog) but he does quack like a duck from time to time- he just doesn't walk or look like one.
