A lot of time and effort has culminated in this video above. Twenty-three Swifties united together to create a birthday gift for our idol, role model and inspiration.
Yesterday, the amazing Taylor Alison Swift turned 25 years old, and we couldn't be more proud at the success she's had. Her continued dedication to her craft is prominently shown in everything she does, whether it is creating records or using her platform to work with organizations and charities she supports.
I came up with this idea of a full album lip sync video the week 1989 was released. I was listening to it-on repeat, as I imagine most were- while at work, and I had this sudden "aha" moment. What if I could get a group of Swifties to lip sync the entire album? I mean, that would be really cool. As I started to put it together, I wondered if I could pull it off.
Well, here we are, "aha" moment fulfilled. It took a while to edit everything together--which is why this is a day late--, but I am proud with the end result.
*There are some blank spaces, no pun intended, where there aren't recorded lip sync videos, but that shouldn't deter you from enjoying the music and video...hopefully.*
Anyway, I am incredibly thankful to the people who took part in this. They took the time to look at the idea I had and send in videos. This could never have happened if I didn't have you all.
What makes me the most proud about this project is that this video is representative of how widespread the love for Taylor is. We may all be from different parts of the world, but we have a bond that connects us. All thanks to Taylor!
I hope whoever sees this enjoys what we have made. And if Taylor sees this....well, it's safe to say I, and everyone else in this video, would be beyond ecstatic.
