This film reel contains rare amateur footage of Southwest American life in the early twentieth century. Despite the fact that the exact date and location of the film is unknown, it is likely that most of the scenes are from New Mexico, with some ending shots of the Grand Canyon and California. The beginning scenes appear to be of the Palace of the Governors in Santa Fe. This film focuses especially on Native Americans, their celebrations, adobe architecture, and various national monuments. It is likely that one scene shows a feast day at a pueblo where the cameraman took special care in filming the Native Americans, particularly the women wearing headdresses. Early video such as this is hard to come by and preserves an old and mostly past way of life.

The first Russian Haute Couture fashion house, IRFE, which opened at the beginning of last century, took advantage of Paris fashion week to showcase Olga Sorokina who revealed for the occasion during a cocktail at the the Palais de Tokyo, her first collection for this label called “Renaissance” and prepared an exhibition on the artist Alexandre Vassiliev entitled “The Russian emigration and fashion in the 1920’s.” This young Russian woman has initiated the rebirth of this fashion house, which also chose Paris in 1924 to house its first fashion show.

Tabernacle Chapel built in 1879 and closed its doors to the congregation in 2002. That Boy Joe is a highly enjoyable film that attempts to confront preventing juvenile delinquency with judicial and religious instruction. Joe, a teenager who makes poor decisions, faces criminal charges after stealing cigarettes while intoxicated. In court, the judge condemns Joe’s actions and his parents’ neglect. Then things get interesting. The judge goes on a rant about the evils of alcohol and loose morals that would make anyone in conservatism history blush. The causes of juvenile delinquency are as ridiculous as not having enough Boy Scouts around! The conservative Christian morality is heaped on this poor young man. But in the end, That Boy Joe exemplifies many of the common attitudes about temperance and moderation techniques that were pervasive in the mid twentieth century.

Where Does it Get You? is a classic educational alcohol video from the 1940's. The effects of alcohol and facts about alcohol are the film's subject matter. The Macedonian folk singer Kiril Mančevski performing the old and famous Macedonian traditional folk song "Jano mori, Jano sevdalino" (Hey Jano, Jano my serenade ) from the Debar region in Western Macedonia. It was first recorded in the middle of the 20th century by Kiril Mancevski. Judging by the storyline, it dates back to the Ottoman rule in the Balkans. He performed together with the Macedonian folk singer Violeta Tomovska the very famous song "Makedonsko Devojche" 1964 which was composed by the legendary Macedonian singer Jonche Hristovski.
