The 2010 Fantasy Fest Grand Parade in Key West, Florida is the final event in a 10 day long risqué and adult oriented annual festival. The Halloween Eve procession featured nearly 60 lavish motorized floats, bands and marching groups. Some parade entries illustrated the festival theme, "Habitat for Insanity." Standouts included a flock of giant multicolored cuckoos, a quartet of 15-foot-tall walking puppets and a "cannibal village" float featuring caged mud-wrestling natives wearing tiny loin cloths. Tourism officials said the festival brings approximately $30 million in annual revenues to the Florida Keys.

Biography text, a courtesy from Americas Junior Miss: Nora Ali, AJM 2007 Nora is currently a junior at Harvard University where she is studying Statistics/Quantitative Finance and economics. Nora has been a violin soloist with seven orchestras, First Violinist for the Greater Twin Cities Orchestra in Minnesota and the Xaqialer String Quartet. She has also performed the National Anthem on the violin at Major League baseball games, and is currently the concertmistress for the Harvard Pops Orchestra. Nora has been featured on WCCO TV (CBS) for her academic and musical excellence. Nora is a member of Harvard Smart Women Securities and also serves as a research assistant at Harvard Business School.

he Passacaglia on DSCH is a large-scale composition for solo piano by the British composer Ronald Stevenson. It was composed between 24 December 1960 and 18 May 1962, except for two sections added on the day of the first performance on 10 December 1963. The composer presented a copy of the score to Dmitri Shostakovich, its dedicatee, at the 1962 Edinburgh Festival. The work takes the principle of passacaglia or chaconne - nIt is based on a 13-note 'ground' derived from the musical motif D, E-flat, C, B: the German transliteration of Dmitri Shostakovich's initials ("D. Sch."). (Shostakovich used these four notes as a musical 'signature', for example in his Eighth String Quartet). Stevenson's work takes more than an hour and a quarter to perform and may be the longest unbroken single movement composed for piano.
