This film depicts a re-enactment of the assassination of John F. Kennedy, including the motorcade route and the escape route of Lee Harvey Oswald. After an identification of the surrounding area, the narrator dissects the timeline and trajectory of the assassination. Based on footage and evidence, agents re-enact the assassination from the viewpoint of the motorcade, the street, and from Oswald’s vantage point. The film ends with a timeline that retraces Oswald’s steps from the final moments and confrontation at the Texas School Book Depository to Tippet where he shoots again and flees to the Texas Theater to hide. The Mississippi is not always a friend to man though. Because of the Mississippi River, Americans experienced floods and hardships in 1912, 1913, 1922, and 1927. The flood of 1927 was so bad that the Federal Government passed the Flood Control Act of 1928 to control flooding from the Mississippi. This act sent engineers and surveyors into the field to map and study the valley. Their solution was to implement thousands of miles of levees, dams, channels, and cutoffs to hold and divert water. Most importantly, both sides of the river are now lined with levees. Water will rush in and use its new shorter route. Without man-made changes to the valley, the people suffered hardships. The Space Between is a surrealistic journey about 5 soldiers who wake up in the wilderness on an undisclosed mission only to discover that the rest of their platoon has disappeared overnight and none of their equipment works. SPOILERS I'm not really pro-Saber as I think shes a bit bland in comparison to the omnipotent Tohsaka Rin but I'm really glad the anime chose the Saber route. It gives the whole thing a lovely sense of innocence and tragedy that none of the other girls could quite grasp. The biggest annoyance is Shirou's ignorance in refusing to let Saber battle (I like to call this Haruno Sakura Syndrome, when a strong female character constantly has male characters throwing their bodies in the way as human shields, preventing the girl from showing what they're made of.) Though his ignorance causes more problems than it solves, its a great seeing the respect build between them. People were disappointed with Stay Night's ending because it didn't give them the Avril Lavigne happy ending they pined for but I was satisfied. Stay Night is a tribute to the fact that happy endings aren't always about finding love but also losing it, accepting it and finding a way to move on with your life.

While Hiking the Annapurna Circuit in the Nepal Himalaya, I decided to take the road less traveled to reach Lake Tilicho (a rarely used and very difficult path rising to 5000m, instead of the normal river side route used by Sherpas). The views were incredible and I was in high spirits until I heard a sounds behind me, a little rockslide built into a roar and quickly became a full on landslide, wiping out my way back. I was alone and had no choice but to press on, praying all the while it didn't happen again!
