The Keepnews Collection, from Concord Music Group is a reissue series of albums produced by this jazz legend. It features time-honored titles recorded by the true titans of jazz, originally released on Riverside and Milestone Records. All reissues, with 24-bit remastering from the master tapes, include original liner notes and Keepnews' voluminous new commentaries; when available, the original tracks are supplemented by bonus cuts from the sessions.

On the 5th of June 2008 three boys set themself a mission. Walk from Launceston where they live to the little town of Longford. Why? You ask, well oviously so we can skate there DURR! We traveled to Launceston to Longford with two stops along the way We then shreeded to Longford Skate park for about 3 hours or so. We then Headed to the Longford train tracks and walked across them hoping not the get hit by a train to Perth. We stopped at a shop in Perth and brought some tukka and drink. A stirring blend of vintage boxing, crime, and drama, Crime Patrol is a hard hitting 1930’s film. Starring the go-getting Ray Walker, the film begins on the wrong side of the tracks with Walker as a street level pugilist who does favors for gangsters. But as the payoffs and boxing matches get too hectic, Walker gets pushed towards decisions about his loyalties. Go straight, or stay cool? The film is briskly paced; and the more sinister elements of the story stand out as much harder than the usual 1930’s fare. All in all, Crime Patrol is a knockout movie filled with high, lows, loves, and villains.

this is a dj mix I did back in '02. I used a studio mates drum 'n' bass records to make this mix. I wanted to try and create a slower sounding mix that had the depth and intensity of jungle. I had to quickly find, listen to, and mix what seemed to work. Bare in mind I had never heard these tracks until I mixed them.

Let me know what you think of the different versions. I like that this one was more complete, but the pace and tone really seem to drag in the extra section, without the other-character scenes I edited out from inbetween. The dramatic music is part of it, and I could fade that down, but then the cat noises would be quieter too, since I don't have the audio tracks independently............... As with all Kimi Wa Petto clips: Kimi Wa Petto is copyright Tokyo Broadcasting Station, and the version I clipped from was subbed by J-tv. Video quality of the original would be higher than the compressed version I uploaded here............... I'm using these to bait my friends into Asian Drama.
