Yup. As usual, it's in order from oldest to newest and I have a few that are animals this time! I've actually stopped constantly drawing manga people and have actually been surprised to find that I'm not AS bad as I thought I would be at drawing animals. Of course I'm extremely far from perfect and I don't know proportions for animals but I'm not nearly as bad as I thought. XP

Directed by Mike Aho, Illustrated by Michael Sieben This is the first installation of the ((sounder)) Director’s Collaboration Project a series of 5 videos premiering ever month throughout the spring and summer of 2008. Featured artist/directors are Michael Sieben, Mel Kadel, Todd Bratrud, Travis Millard and Dave Bryant. All of the artists worked with Mike Aho in a creative collaboration to develop images that either capture or decompose the music through the use of drawings, film, animation and video.

A documentary film about graffiti made the high school students in The TORCH Program. The film is the culmination of six months of research, interviewing, filming and editing. Synopsis: Last year, NYC spent 5.5 million dollars cleaning up graffiti. Are officials removing vandalism from the walls of private property, or stripping the city of its urban character? TORCH students decided to explore the boundaries between defacement and art. They traveled from the galleries of Chelsea to tattoo parlors in Brooklyn, always keeping their eyes peeled, looking for insight on the big question. They spoke with Kaves, Graffiti King and self-proclaimed urban "Tom Sawyer," about going from chalk drawings to becoming a published street artist. The students looked on as the NYPD Vandal Squad members argued the destructive side of graffiti and suggested various methods to combat the so-called problem. The TORCH participants witnessed businesses crumbling and art portfolios growing. In an attempt to answer their question, they discovered: there is no answer, there are only a multitude of opinions. Now the time has come for you to Draw the Line!

Well we had to read Antigone in our English class and do a project on it. To create a movie that would capture attention. We used Naruto. The drawings share rights to Nicole Carlozzi, Colleen Aubut, and Jessica Thayer and The Anime belongs to it's rightful artist. I hope you enjoy the trailer.

Two Spirit aired on the January 2007 show and is one of my favorite segments. A panel discussion comprised of Native Americans from different tribes from different parts of the country spoke about the centuries-old Native American belief system around LGBT people, which is known as Two Spirit. LGBT people were an integral, respected, even revered part of Native American society prior to the settlement of the Americas by Europeans, which was an empowering and hopeful story of what role LGBT people once did and possibly could again play in the world. I enjoyed bringing some creativity to this segment; the masks in the segment are my own and were hanging on my living room wall, while the drawings I drew myself in high school. It was fun incorporating those artistic visual elements into the title slates.

Essi is my imaginary dragon that i bring in for rping, essi usually causes trouble but she also tries to help people sometimes. essi is supposedly about the size of a rly small cat.. kinda... well the relative size is shown in the pic of myself i drew as that was a drawing of me with essi. Essi is based off of a little dragon statue thingy i have that i rly like. sorry for some pics having pixelated/cruddy lines, i scanned them and for some i was too lazy to fix the scanning problems. Cai Guo-Qiang: I Want to Believe at the Museo Guggenheim Bilbao is a comprehensive retrospective of the work of Chinese artist Cai Guo-Qiang. It's the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao's first solo show devoted to a Chinese-born artist. Cai Guo-Qiang was born in Quanzhou, China in 1957.
