Periogen - Product ReviewPeriogen claims to dissolve tartar, the hard as a rock calculus build up on your teeth. I have used two 3oz containers of Periogen over a period of 7 months using a water flosser nightly. As stated on their site "our experience is once a day for 90 days is enough to rid your teeth of all offensive tartar Periogen has come in contact with, both above and below the gum line." ==========My Results========== It did nothing to dissolve or weaken the tartar below my gumline! Not only did it fail to do anything for the calculus I already had, it did nothing to stop new tartar from forming above my gumline which I had to manually scrape off. (Do I have bad hygiene? No, I brush my teeth after every meal and I do not consume sugary drinks...) ==========My Comments========== I tried to leave perfectly reasonable comments about my experience on a video posted by someone named "blogmore". However my comments were REMOVED and I was banned from posting after my second attempt. I was under the assumption this was an actual "independent" study not affiliated with Periogen. (It is not!) So being unable to post my comments I created my own video describing the ineffectiveness of Perogen. About a month later my video was removed for a "Copyright infringement" by none other than the Periogen Company. So I posted a second video being sure to block out anything that could be considered copyright infringing. They again made a false accusation of copyright infringement and of course YOUTUBE doesn't fact check anything! Don't worry, NOTHING IS GOING TO STOP ME FROM POSTING MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS DEFECTIVE PRODUCT! I will flood youtube with multiple accounts if I have to. I will not have my voice snuffed out by viscous protectionist.
