How to send attachments for scheduled task in Navicat database software? (Windows)A special feature of Navicat Batch Job is the ability to send exported files and print reports with notification emails. In this tutorial, we will send attachments for both exporting files and report printing. First, click the “Schedule” button to open the schedule panel. Then, click “New Batch Job” to open the batch job design window. To select jobs, simply double-click the jobs from the “Available Jobs” list in the “General” tab. If you select a report file, you will need to choose the export Report Type and the Target File Path. Then, highlight the profile in the “Selected Jobs” list and click the “Add Attachment” button. Next, select the “Advanced” tab and enable the “Send Email” option. Specify the sender, the recipients’ email, and the SMTP server. If your SMTP server requires authentication to send emails, you need to check the “Use Authentication” option and fill in the log-in information. Then, save the batch job and click the “Set Task Schedule” button to set a schedule for running the batch job. In the Windows scheduler, click the “Set password” button and enter the Windows login password. You can now set a schedule, for example: run the batch job every day at 10:30. When setting a schedule in Linux version, you just need to enter the time period in the set schedule window.
