My first real use of UV mapping plus mulitlayered/ channel texturing in Blender. A scuba mask with seperate textures for color, alpha and specularity

Blender, using multiple constraints (2 track to's) and 2 strength IPO's to look back and forth at different objects. NOTE: this doesn't work unless you select the IPO for the top constraint last before animating, strange behavior IMHO!!

Blender animation-> Using animation of hooks that control the taperobject curve to make shoots grow. Now with multiple shoots and using TimeOffset of the hooks, the hooks all have the same IPO but start at different times (because of the added as timeoffset). Also added was the wave modifier that makes the shoots gently sway. the camera animation is bad, sorry.

My first try at animating a growing vine made in Blender. The vine/ stalk/ whatever is 2 bevelobjects made to grow by animating hooks attached to 2 middle points in the Beziere curves that are the TaperObject that defines the size of the Bevel Object - so when the end of the curve is at 0 then the end of the vine has no width so it isn't seen. To make a looktaret for the camera I also used constrain to path for an empty and this uses the red stalk of the vine as its path too. Then I made a seperate curve for the camera path and constrained the camera to path too. There are some obvious shortcomings with the render, but hey, it works.

Fluid simulation in Blender made a fountain basin

playing with shape keys animation in Blender I learned that you can go beyond 0-1 for the strength of each shape, if <0 or >1 then the displacement of verts relative to basis is multiplied byt the ipo strength!

(reload as first didn't take??) I rerendered my simulation of Whipped cream made with the fluid simulation in Blender. Now the background is panels ... of whipped cream pie in the face cartoons! Lighting a little different too. This simulation works well with drip, compression, elasticity, splat great but smear only OK as Blender won't let you leave an extremely thin smeared layer. Used subsurfsimulation to show translucency of the whipped cream/

3rd rendering of a fluid simulation made in Blender that shows some of the errors in the simulation and rendering process

Blender fluid simulation. My second animation render and it shows. Sorry about the adhd cameraman :0 Problems are seen with adjusting objects (both the obstacles and domain were edited BUT the editing was ignored partially in the bake as seen by fluid flowing underneat the obstacle.) Also the black sphere in the cormer is supposed to be an outflow but that didn't seem to work eather. Laslty, the sim forms square drops when they stop moving, not round ones!

This was done using Blender with fluid sim physics. It was rendered using the default internal Blender renderer. This is also my very first animation render.
