Ebay's web based TV-exchange has been shut down after just one year. It reportedly failed to receive support from networks because they feared that the platform, which was used to broker deals electronically by cable networks, would devalue the cost of advertisements.
And MySpace is going to go through a massive redesign, meant to fix many of the complaints that users report for the popular social networking site. The newly overhauled MySpace will launch on Wednesday, June 18th, with a reworked homepage, an upgraded navigation map, and a new-and-improved search feature.
Time Warner is re-launching their defunct WB network as on online network. Warner Brothers Television Group has signed a broadband distribution deal that will make their content available for syndication on Sling Media, Joost, Daily Motion, TiVo, and Veoh, but not on Hulu.
